Anchor/Reporter, Part Time - Radio PA

Radio Pennsylvania is seeking a broadcast professional to cover news stories of state and regional interest for statewide radio network comprised of more than 60 affiliates across Pennsylvania. Shift is early morning weekend hours and occasional weekday fill-ins (hours to vary). Position reports to the News Director and involves writing and anchoring newscasts, covering press conferences, producing story packages, conducting interviews, producing long-form programming and providing news feeds for affiliates. Applicants must have experience in digital audio editing and field reporting, with a minimum of at least 1-2 years of experience in broadcast journalism.

Sports Anchor (Part Time)

Radio Pennsylvania is seeking a broadcast professional for a part-time position in our sports department, which provides services for dozens of radio station affiliates across Pennsylvania. The position primarily involves early Saturday mornings but can also include early morning weekday and/or other weekend hours on an as-needed basis.

Duties include writing & anchoring sportscasts, taking sports feeds from stringers across North America, covering major collegiate or professional sporting events, providing sports feeds to affiliates and other duties assigned by the Sports Director and News Director. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and experience in digital audio editing with a preferred minimum 1-2 years of experience in sports broadcasting.

Radio Pennsylvania is a state-wide news network that distributes a full range of state news and sports programming to affiliated stations throughout the commonwealth and is a subsidiary of WITF. RadioPA and WITF are EOE.

WITF offers resume-building, academic experience to college students across a variety of disciplines.  While our internships are unpaid, interns using their internship for academic credit have the opportunity to apply for a stipend through the Chronister Internship Endowment
