Digital Product Manager

WITF seeks a Digital Product Manager to join our growing team and help build the next generation of our digital products. The candidate will work with the Director of Technology and other internal stakeholders to develop and manage the product roadmap and lifecycles to include strategy, requirements definition, design, user testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Partner with stakeholders across Content, Marketing, Development, and Underwriting to define product requirements.
  • Write product specifications and identify KPIs for features and products.
  • Partner with the design team to build wireframes and prototypes of new products and features.
  • Lead ongoing maintenance of our various digital properties via an agile continuous enhancement process.
  • Help test and deploy platform and plugin updates.
  • Conduct hands-on quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Manage user account provisioning, role assignments, and other aspects of operational security.
  • Monitor the technical quality of our websites. Implement and maintain title tags, meta tags, and URL redirects. Adjust for 404 errors. Monitor Google Search Console and similar webmaster tools.
  • Utilize tools and techniques to maximize traffic to a website by improving page rank within search engines. Design and execute tests to measure and improve page load times, responsiveness, accessibility, usability, etc.
  • Provide supplemental technical support, documentation, and training to internal product users.
  • Maintain a regular and consistent schedule of required maintenance tasks and deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as required.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree and/or two-years experience working in a web/mobile publishing and/or development environment. Experience with Content Management Systems and digital analytics is required. Familiarity with agile project management is preferred. Prior exposure to WordPress, web design/UI/UX/development, or the public media landscape are all bonus.

Data Analyst

WITF is seeking to hire an innovative and motivated Data Analyst who will work as an integral part of a dynamic team in partnership with peers and senior staff. They will lead the development of our Business Intelligence environment, manage all activities related to financial and membership analytics, and design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and automated workflows to bring data-driven insights to our organization.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information System, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, and/or Finance and at least 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An advanced knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) and Salesforce is a plus.

Development Outreach Specialist

WITF is seeking an outgoing and customer-focused individual to join our Development team as an Outreach Specialist!  This person will support the organization through the recruitment and leadership of qualified volunteers to fulfill the many programs and events that WITF offers as well as provide timely, efficient and friendly customer service to WITF members, respond to donor inquiries, and resolve donor payment issues.  You'll also perform important customer services functions like managing member benefits, generating annual tax receipts, coordinating pledge drive phone coverage and premiums, and processing contributions.  The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, outstanding people skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and common computer software with at least 3 years' experience in a customer service and/or donor services environment.  Proficiency with fundraising and customer service software and experience in a non-profit environment is preferred. WITF offers resume-building, academic experience to college students across a variety of disciplines.  While our internships are unpaid, interns using their internship for academic credit have the opportunity to apply for a stipend through the Chronister Internship Endowment
